Janice又隔了好久好久沒寫blog了! 印象中痞客邦有照片上傳的總量限制，讓愛用照片作紀錄的我感覺綁手綁腳! 再加上瞎忙的生活步調...，blog就荒廢許久! 這次在整理書櫃打算好好做個斷捨離時，在妮妮國小三年級的資料夾裡發現了一張當時的"作業"吧? 看著看著覺得又可愛又好笑，還有"感動"的大發現~

Janice 和幾位夥伴一起團購了渾天儀的立體組合模型!雖然領到貨了，一直沒有閒暇時間，找個空曠的桌面，認真的研究一番! 還好，登高一呼開團購的周老師很熱心地要帶大家一起DIY 囉!! 太好了，大家一起動動手，應該做起來更有樂趣! 正好某個周五無預約團體，利用志工值勤時間DIY渾天儀模型，育樂自己一番!!
動手DIY啦~

(補文時間2020.8月)參觀時是試營運初期，原本只是路過，完全不知道那裏有個新的博物館，館方人員看到我們在外面拍照，很熱情的招呼我們進入參觀! Janice特別詢問可可也能進去嗎? 或許是當時試營運一切規定還在摸索，總之在寵物不落地的情況下，可可也有參觀博物館的經驗囉!! 參觀時，正巧有一團體是博物館招待當地其他公務單位參訪，我們跟著一起聽導覽解說，真是太幸運了!  (許願科博館也能改成使用子母機來導覽，呵呵)
雖然當時只是試營運Janice 覺得處處已經很上軌道了(拍拍手)，只可惜我們是下午臨時到訪，參觀時間不長，以我們家習慣會泡在博物館裡一整天、慢慢看! 有機會一定要再去一趟的!

Visit this one-of-a-kind lake where you can really take a walk on the wild side.

　　When you think about going to a lake, you probably think about swimming or lying on a sandy beach to enjoy the sunshine. You would never dream about walking on the water. But that’s exactly what you can do at Pitch Lake in Trinidad, a body of water unlike any other. 
　　First of all, Pitch Lake doesn’t only contain water. It also has a mix of oil, clay, and tar called pitch. This sticky black goo▼ is extremely thick, but still a liquid. Even so, the mixture can be walked on. Move too slowly, though, and you might start to sink. 
　　The lake is huge, 100 acres▼ in size, and it could be over 70 meters deep in some places. Rather than swimming and other water activities, the pitch is mined for asphalt▼ and sent around the world. It has been used to pave▼roads in over 50 countries to date. Experts say even if mining▼ continues, the pitch could last for another 400 years. That means you’ve still got time to plan a trip there and see Pitch Lake in person.

好久Janice沒上來寫食況報導了，呵呵 應該說好久沒寫部落格了，還真不是忙幾件事就能當理由的，忙啊~~ 希望慢慢能找出時間回到格子上，希望啦!自我期許，哈哈! 這家也是老公不知從哪看到的訊息，網路力量大，真假消息看都看不完。也常常是被騙交學費，真不知道那些說好話的網路人，是需要被關注?還是美味門檻低?還是有廣告嫌疑? ...好啦，至於交了學費遇到的[雷店]Janice也沒時間記他們一筆! 不錯的、還會再去的，真要好好抽時間來寫一寫，寫多寫少都是生活紀錄!!(這一篇從5月開始寫...到現在10月中啦!!可見我要記錄它的決心...)

↑知道這是網路人氣店家，雖然早一點去，還是等候的人一堆!! 店家座位少，餐點又都是現點現做，所以翻桌率慢，要有耐心慢慢等...

     又到了年終歲末、新舊交替的時候，我們這一班也要迎新送舊，換班長了喔! 感謝平哥2017一整年的辛勞，為我們聯絡大小事情!也要麻煩雄哥在新的一年多照顧我們五下班啦!!

↑要協調出大家的空檔約吃飯是非常"困難"的事，可能一個月也就只有一天是適合全部的人啊!12/18是個天時地利人和的好日子，我們班聚餐了!地點就在科博館附近的金寶茶餐廳!

　　As the saying goes, "Don't judge a book by its cover." Even though the outside of the Stuttgart City Library in Germany looks like a boring, giant cube▼, the inside is beautiful, and it is filled with more than enough information and entertainment to last a lifetime. Designed by Yi Architects from South Korea, the building itself was the product of a bid among international architects to win the contract from the city of Stuttgart. Construction cost 80 million euros▼ over the course of three years on what is being hailed as a "new intellectual and cultural center."
　　The library opened its doors in 2011, and the nine-story cubic structure makes incredible use of the space inside. A glass ceiling▼ lets in natural light for the patrons▼ to browse the stacks of books, artwork, CDs, DVDs and the rest of the half million items that can be taken home or downloaded digitally. Library card holders can enjoy the innovative convenience of technology that makes checking out materials easier than ever before.
　　For those readers who need to get in and out quickly, the library has automatic, 24-hour check-out and return systems in place using a computer chip▼ that tracks when the book is in the building and when it has been checked out. After an item has been returned, their high-tech sorting facility makes sure it gets back to the shelf in a timely manner using intelligent shelving▼. Self-steering▼ trolleys bring books and other items back to their spot on the shelf for the next curious person to find, check out, and enjoy. Visitors who sign up for library passes can take advantage of a short-range computer chip for overdue payment. The future of libraries is upon us!

Paris has a new solution for fast, efficient transportation using the Seine River.

　　　　Experts estimate that by 2050, there will be 10 billion people on Earth, and most of those people will be living in cities and urban centers. Those people are going to need ways to _(1)_, but ground transportation can only do so much. Air travel may be too dangerous for large populations. Since most cities are built on rivers or waterways▼, water travel could become the best _(2)_ for the future. That is where the idea for the Sea Bubble comes in.
　　　　The Sea Bubble is a hovering▼ water taxi. This floating▼ design feature means that the Sea Bubble can travel _(3)_ through the water without making as many waves as other boats. The craft▼ _(4)_ both noise and pollution by being 100% electric, but this does not limit the Sea Bubble's performance. It can travel around 30 kilometers per hour and cover up to 100 kilometers on a single charge. Each water taxi seats five people, including a driver for now, although the driver may later be _(5)_ with automation▼.

A tale of misplaced pigs.
一則被放錯地方的小豬們的故事。

　　　　In the Bahamas there is an island, officially named Big Major Cay, that has been dubbed Pig Beach. _(1)_
　　For a long time, rumors spread about how the pigs had gotten to the island. _(2)_ In the end, the truth eventually came to light. It was discovered that the pigs had been brought to the island by a couple preparing for the supposed meltdown▼ of civilization▼ in the year 2000.
　　Tourists have been enjoying spending time with the pigs ever since their discovery. _(3)_ The popular performer Pitbull even filmed portions of the music video for his single "Timber" on Pig Beach. Many different media outlets▼ have featured the pigs, and their home is one of the most famous destinations in the Bahamian islands.
　　While the majority of people treat the pigs with respect, unfortunately, this wasn't always the case. People have recklessly fed them alcohol and other things that are dangerous to their health. _(4)_
　　In response, the government of the Bahamas now bans tourists from feeding the pigs. _(5)_ While these restrictions are not yet enacted, if people continue to abuse these animals, more rules are likely to follow. The death of these pigs serves as an unfortunate reminder that even when we travel, we still need to act responsibly. When this is forgotten, everyone suffers the consequences.
(A) Tales range from a crashed ship with the pigs being the only known survivors to being the forgotten meal of a crew of sailors.
(B) It is believed that this recently caused the death of seven or eight of the pigs.
(C) Fortunately, a rich man bought the island, and he even built a ranch there.
(D) Some wish to extend restrictions even further by implementing a mandatory distance that tourists must keep from the pigs.
(E) On this small, thickly forested speck of land, pigs swim in the surrounding crystal-clear waters and interact with tourists in hopes of getting a free bite to eat.(F) They would take pictures with the pigs, pet them, and feed them food.
